It’s like stepping back into history. Saw this restaurant on tiktok and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did as the food was amazing, I got the Tonkatsu curry. The family that runs the shop are so sweet and friendly and along with the patrons as well.

Highly recommend the salmon sashimi rice bowl and pork cutlet. This restaurant is truly a hole in the wall in Boyle Heights but I feel like I’m in Little Tokyo.

This place is a total GEM. Small, quaint, but with excellent service. The food was really good! I'll definitely be returning. Just note that it's super small... 3 or 4 booths & a few bar stool seats.

One of the last remaining Japanese restaurants in Boyle Heights, you’ll find Otomisan. It offers classic Japanese comfort food. We love this place and if you’re around it’s a must try. So far we have not found a dish we didn’t like. This is one of those restaurants you come back and try something different and it won’t disappoint. I highly recommend it
