The Little Lion Foundation is a wonderful choice for adopting a kitten. They are very dedicated to saving and finding good homes for as many young cats as possible. Having recently adopted a beautiful and well adjusted young cat from this organization, my experience was very positive. This organization did everything right and the volunteer (Ronda) I worked with during my adoption process was great as well. I’m extremely grateful to have found The Little Lion Foundation and look forward to adopting from them again in the future.

Adopted a beautiful blue dilute tortie from Little Lion Foundation last Sunday and my partner and I are absolutely in love. Really can't thank the volunteers here enough for their help in ensuring a smooth process. The application is a little longer than I expected as a first-time adopter, but totally worth it so don't be discouraged by all the questions on the form and follow-ups from the rescue! They want to make sure you're able to give your new cat a good home, and they're very attentive/available to answer any questions you have. The handouts I was given were really helpful in figuring out how to help my new cat adjust, and set us up for a successful transition. We were even able to do a Zoom meet with the cat via her foster before we committed to adopting her, and they gave us info on her likes and preferences which helped when we were deciding what materials to buy. All in all a great experience, would def adopt with them again. Our kitty was well-socialized, spayed, and litter-box trained already, which was great.

We had such a great experience adopting from Little Lion Foundation! The adoption process was easy, fast and very thorough. We were first time cat owners and everyone was so helpful and informative about what it’s like to own a kitty. We are so happy we chose LLF and so excited to have our Kibby!

For the longest time I just looked at their website since looking at kitties is a favorite pastime. I always loved the photos and bios compared to other sites. Later in 2021 my family decided we should add to our 2 cat/1 dog household so I started looking at Little Lion a bit more closely. When I reached out, Renae responded right away. She provided excellent information and put me in touch with Jessica who was fostering one of the kitties we were looking at. After a video visit to meet the kitty we were ready to move forward. The entire process was so smooth and easy. Both Renae and Jessica were quick to respond and it’s clear they care very much for the kitties. I really liked getting a lot of information about the kitty along with helpful guidance on bringing the kitty home and making that transition go as safely as possible. When picking up our new kitty from the Little Lion center we were able to see the kitten nursery. All of these kitties are loved and so well cared for. I love what Little Lion is doing in saving the kittens from euthanasia and finding good homes. I highly recommend reaching out to Little Lion if you’re looking to add some kitten love to your home.

Adoptions are currently being coordinated after an online application is filled out and approved. The process is almost entirely non-contact including Meet-and-Greets Via Zoom.

Unfortunately, we do not. If you're in Long Beach, Long Beach Animal Care Services or Golden State Humane rent regular cat traps!

My name is Brenda. I was given a baby kitten to find a home, but no luck. I decided to keep her, because my grandson is sad that Diamond have to leave. Do you give free shots and donate cat food and litter. Can you provid me the phone #. Thank you
