I personally love the place I do think its weird that even if you passed the swim test last year and brought proof they still make you do it even if you have your whole family word that you have taken it

The $16 per person fee is a shocker. But hey, if you're looking swim and hang out in an overcrowded gathering ground for the city's obese, this is your spot, baby. Other than that, the venue is actually pretty well kept for being as old as it is, and the armed police officer is a nice touch, especially with all the varieties of "questionable" patrons. But hey, bring in your ice chests, your chips, your pans of baked goods and fight for a spot.

I absolutely love this pool. I have had a membership 2 years in a row and go almost every evening during the summer! Great staff, great pool, and my kids have so much fun!

Yeah- it's expensive. You might consider visiting Denver's community pool. It's not as fancy, but it's less expensive.

It opens at 4:00pm Friday. And after that it opens at 12pm the rest of the summer. If you are a pool member it opens at 10:30am on the weekends.
