Shelby and Rachel gave my girlfriend and I the best service ever! We had a few small issues and they took care of us promptly with no hassle! The application process to move in was complete within 48 hours and went extremely smooth. This community is very beautiful and peaceful throughout the day and we live by pool. Our view from balcony is phenomenal! We are very excited to live here. We are very happy with the service, everyone is very professional and get the job done! Thank you guys for such a great experience moving in.

After living at the Fairways for two going on three years now me and my wife are going to have to review other options for our living situation. While the maintenance and other general staff are great, customer service from management has been lackluster. We received our updated lease agreement for the new year expecting a small increase (like the one we received last year) to account for inflation, what we received was a $203 a month increase with a 1% "discount" if we renewed within 45 days of our lease ending. After putting in a request to meet with the property manager to discuss the increase I was called back promptly with a date and time. When I got to the leasing office today for the meeting I was told that the manager Kathy couldn't make it since she was pulled for a corporate meeting. Instead I met with Alex, whom I've spoken to on more than one occasion. He told me since we have a 3 bedroom apartment that the offer we received was still way below the market rate of close to $3600! To me a 7-9 percent rent increase is extremely steep no matter what the situation is. We signed our lease two years ago for a low rate and now it seems as though we can expect nominal increases per year until we are much closer to Essex's projected "market rate". Basically the meeting I had scheduled was pointless because the rates are set by corporate and there is nothing that can be done. We love the complex and grounds but unfortunately it seems as though Essex corporate doesn't value good tenants who pay rent on time. It really is a shame since this is a nice place to live, if you get what you think is a good deal, be careful because your rent will go up!

Best place I've ever lived! Of all the places I've ever rented, this one is by far the greatest! The negative reviews for this place must have been with old management, because I seriously have never had such great landlords. For years I've had horrible property management (stay away from Equity Residential), but this place was a refreshing change since Alex and the rest of the leasing agents have always been so quick, friendly, and helpful. The property itself is top notch, and if anything isn't up to par, things are actually fixed instead of putting a bandaid on any issues. All the amenities, the quality of the apartment, neighbors, and peace of mind living in this community are more than I could ask for! It is on the higher end of apartment prices in the area, but for a good reason. I shopped around the Santa Clarita Valley, and no place seems to come close to this one, so the price seems spot on. The rent went up a little bit to renew, but I've loved living here so much and feel like the rent price is still relatively reasonable, so I can't wait to continue living in such an amazing community!

I've been here for about 5 months now and it's been a pleasant experience so far. Kasey was wonderful and extremely helpful when showing us around. One of the reasons we chose this complex over others was how she felt that the more we knew about the place the more we would want to live here. The other complexes I went to seemed like the tour was highly scripted, impersonal, and the leasing specialists avoided questions that seemed like I was digging too deep. Kasey, on the other hand, was a breath of fresh air. Pros: I had a few maintenance requests I placed the first week I moved in and the team had all of them taken care of within 24 hours. The view from the balcony is great and the complex overall is very tidy. The pool area is very nice and fun to show off. Also the dog park is a really nice touch. The location is fantastic, especially if you're a Six Flags fan. The rent was competitive to other complexes (albeit still ridiculous thanks to LA). I'm in a room that faces the I-5 and yes it does get a bit noisy when the occasional motorcycle drives by but it's nothing compared to when I lived downtown. Overall it's relatively quiet. A couple times a month there's a food truck night which is kind of fun. Cons: The speed bumps are large and numerous. I bottom out on the first two in the complex all the time and it's really annoying. The lighting around the complex is in these really cheap plastic boxes and half of them are cracked. The parking is bad if you have to use unassigned spots. It's really annoying because most residents use their garages as storage which causes them to use unassigned parking spaces. If people dumped their junk and parked their cars in their garages there'd be plenty of open spaces to go around. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience so far and happy I chose this complex. I'm just hoping there isn't a hike in rent prices when it comes time to renew the lease.
