I was looking for an electric cargo bike to take my daughter to and from school and run errands. I found The New Wheel Bike store located on Cortland Avenue in San Francisco's Bernal Heights neighborhood. I felt a very warn welcoming from the staff at the store and thought that Rohan, who is the manager as well, made our experience extremely efficient! Rohan was knowledgeable about the different e-bikes and assisted us right away! We got all of the additional accessories for our bike to make it easier to travel with a rack on the front for bags, a seat on the back for my daughter and a wheel guard so her feet didn't get stuck in the bike spokes. Thank you for such an amazing experience Rohan!

I just purchased my second Benno Boost e-bike from the New Wheel to replace the first one that was stolen. The New Wheel is top notch in every way, which is why I chose to spend my money there not once, but twice. From super helpful and friendly sales staff to competent and quick service by high quality mechanics, every one of my numerous interactions with the New Wheel has been nothing but positive. As a member of the cycling industry, I have spent lots of time in bike shops. The thing I like most about The New Wheel is it's run like a modern business: great communication and a focus on customer service. They are setting an example of what a bike shop should be.

Recently crashed on my bike commuting to work. Didn't do a lot of damage but I wanted to make sure everything was in order when I started commuting again. Had their service department do a full inspection and tune up. Got my bike back in 3 days and it was like a new bike again. Their service department is awesome and their sale people are great too, no pressure they are very easy going never pushing to buy .I recommend them to everyone.

Yes, during quarantine you need to make an appointment ahead of time. Also, the number of hours have been reduced.
Hey Kevin! We don't do ebike conversions anymore. We used to, but the company we liked working with went out of business. As this happened, we noticed that new entry level ebike costs were approaching the cost of quality conversions, but the customer experience on a new ebike was notably better. As a result, we only sell new ebikes - no conversions. Hope that helps and we'd encourage you to come in and chat with our staff to learn more!

Hello Johnny. No, we only sell bikes with a minimum of a two year warranty. Being a local retail store means we must stand behind everything we sell, and at this time we have not found RadPower bikes to meet our standards.
We likely do have the right tube for your stroller. If we don't, we can order it to arrive within a week.
There are no tracking systems that we can recommend at the moment. Best plan right now is to buy insurance for your bike and invest in a top quality lock.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Just seeing this message now. The max weight ratings for our higher weight limit bikes is 350lb. These bikes start at around $4000.
