A spot that really feels like the countryside, which is something I had been missing more than I realized. Some areas have native plants, others not so much, but it’s all peaceful. You need to drive through a lettuce field to get here, which doesn’t feel right, but oh well?

You can really appreciate nature and its gorgeous Out near the ocean. It was clean no trash or other stuff i liked the fact there is not much poison oak on the trails

Love this place. Good for fishing, hiking or just walking on the beach.

Combining the river loop and beach trail creates about a two mile walk. The parking area was difficult to access due to muddy conditions. The beach area is quiet and pretty. I bet this area would be more fun with a guide to point out the bird species.

Not particularly. It's very dune heavy and there are signs that say not to go on the beach. I would recommend the Salinas River State Beach nearby. Much more scenic and not very crowded.
There is no address available. It is an estuary... Where the Salinas River meets the Pacific Ocean.
No, it's a Snowy Plover nesting site, no dogs at all.
Yea you need a California fishing license.
