THE place to go in Santa Cruz, for all your musical needs. Got my guitar all tuned up!

Good ole starving Musician...what can i say. Gone are the good old days of aggressive wheeling and dealing like its former occupant Union Grove music. The staff is nice and the vibe is chill. The inventory is severely lacking its not their fault tho. With covid and Amazon its almost impossible to compete. I am glad Starving musician is there as its a last reminder that was once was

I've recently moved close to Santa cruz and needed some stuff for my guitar. There are few great music stores in Santa Cruz but I came to starving musicians. They are in downtown SC and parking is easy. They have a great selection of instruments, specially electric guitars. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Prices are also fair. Definitely recommend this place.

I am having a nut and saddle replacement put in my classical guitar. I've always gotten excellent treatment, products and services from the guys that work at Starving Musician and a great time turnaround for repairs. I wouldn't take my guitar anywhere else. 🎶🎵🎸🎶

The guys there are on top of all protocol only allowing just a few customers into the the store at a time and requiring everyone who comes in to take an some hand sanitizer that they provide
Yea there are some
Go in and ask, I'm almost sure they won't bite you, unless they are really hungry 😊
Bring it on in and we can take a look at it, we have a few referrals to people locally that do keyboard repair.
Usually The Starving Musician is open from NOON - 5PM Saturdays and Sundays.
We have Mics, and normally a good selection of audio computer interfaces. Right now due to high demand, we only have a 4-channel interface for $299. Thank you - Vernon, GM
Yes.. Ask any questions of the Staff..They will point you in the right direction..
They rent stuff for a percentage of the cost
Go for a walk, walk in to the shop and ask or sit on the main road with a for sale sign
Go see what they have. Bring your own equipment to check that all the connections work together
