I had a great experience as a golf newbie. You can rent golf clubs and start swing. Pricing is affordable for golf.

Don't ever forget one of your golf clubs at the driving range, because you may not find it when you go back. My family was using the driving range a few days ago and I left 5 clubs behind when I finished (my bad). The next day I noticed they were missing and called the office to see if they had been turned in. My name, telephone number and email address were taped on each shaft. The person on the phone seemed a bit evasive about whether any clubs were turned in and suggested I come in to look myself. So I went in and checked the lost-and-found bin behind the counter. No clubs. I noticed several tubs of used clubs for sale and was shocked to find one of my Vokey wedges, for sale!! Still had my name taped on the shaft. I confronted the person working there who couldn't explain how my club ended up in a for-sale bin. I searched all the other tubs to no avail. The guy went outside and magically came back with 2 of my other clubs but was evasive about where he found them ("here and there"). Finally, after about 30 minutes, we looked in the back room and located my last club. Now, it could be that they are highly disorganized. But wouldn't you expect clubs turned in the previous day to be in the lost-and-found bin, not in other back rooms in the shop, and certainly not in a for-sale bin? Is it possible that the hundreds of clubs for sale in the shop are actually clubs previously lost by customers? Is it possible that instead of putting lost clubs in the lost-and-found bin, they squirrel them away in the back room so that customers who return looking for their clubs don't find them and leave, then they turn around and sell those clubs when the coast is clear? I'm not saying that's what they do, but it does make one suspicious about their methods. Certainly I would have expected them, at the very least, to have seen the label and given me a courtesy phone call or email to let me know they were holding my clubs for me. My experience would lead me to wonder just how honest these folks are. I did not receive a satisfactory explanation for how my clubs ended up where they were, so I am left to draw my own inferences. Perhaps they will respond to this comment to shed some light on the matter? In any event, I trust they will make a much better effort in future to safeguard the golf equipment their customers bring to the facility.
