Evergreen SGV is great bible based church! I miss Pastor Cory but God has appointed a fantastic new pastor in Pastor Rocky Seto! I love his passion for Jesus and God’s word! He is truly helping me and my family to look to Jesus! There are some new and exciting ministries like Next Step to help get connected to Evergreen SGV! I really enjoy going every Sunday!

Attended a memorial service here. Very large venue with plenty of parking. Very nice and respectfully decorated inside.

Starting as a primarily Japanese-American church after the second world war, Evergreen moved from its namesake street in East L.A. to Rosemead, then eventually grew to several churches and church plants. A good balance of spiritual experience and biblical teaching. Sr. Pastor Cory Ishida emphasizes strong bible study, worship, prayer and family priorities. Sports and kids programs. Multi-generational experience with newborns to octogenarians. I don't think there are any perfect churches or perfect people, but Evergreen continually tries to encourage people to seek and experience God
