Very well done with good information. Easy walk across the bridge. Got a picture with the fire.

This is my absolute favorite ICT must see... It is a law that if you visit Wichita, you have to visit the Keeper. Two large pedestrian suspension bridges that lead to the back of the Native American center and the Keeper himself. Calming Native American music is played throughout and walkways to get a closer look at the river. Don't miss the fire show! At certain times during the season, there is a nightly fire show lit from the surrounding barrels in the water around the Keeper. If you are temperature sensitive, beware! It gets a little warm on the lower platform! Meet some friendly wildlife, and even fish the river bank. Walk ways on both sides of the river extend under the bridges and throughout the city. The pathways are very wide so this makes it perfect for longboarding, bike riding, strollers, wagons, dogs, and even the electric scooters you can pay for to use for a short time. There are seating areas located at the center of the Keeper and both entrances of the bridges as well as water fountains and trash cans. Learn about Native American culture and see the heart of the city from the most gorgeous view possible. Kansas has phenomenal sunsets and sunrise, and this is one place to view them at their best.

Keeper Of The Plain is a beautiful park for everyone. There is history written on the artistic walls, good music playing over the speaker system. People are there site seeing, walking, jogging, walking their dogs, skate boarding, biking, riding scooters, kayaking, taking pictures, sometimes artists will be there painting, I've even seen someone getting wedding photos shot there. Everytime I go, I always find a hidden rock by #ictrocks. Thats fun. The Keeper over looks water and city buildings. It is close to Exploration Place and Old Cowtown. There are always plenty of geese and ducks to look at.

A spectacular place to visit. The Wichita tribal plaques were very educational, great designs and the bridge and giant statue are both magnificent structures.
