Waffle Love - Long Beach

So I feel like this isn't talked about enough but this isn't just your standard pour waffle batter that you make at home. This is a light flaky croissant made into a waffle. It wasn't what I was expecting when I took the first bite. That type of flavor and texture compliments sweet and savory very well.

The food was very good. I got Nashville hot chicken and waffle. The waffle was the best waffle I’ve ever had. It didn’t taste like a regular waffle. Very light and buttery. The guy taking my order was very nice and friendly. He called everyone beautiful Queen. I thought it was hilarious!

Typically I go to the waffle love in Santa Clarita which I highly recommend, but I decided to go to the one in Long Beach because it was closer. It was by far the worst waffle love I have been to and I’m not one to write bad google or Yelp review. I ordered online and when I went to pick up my order the woman working the register wasn’t really doing her job in attending the people waiting outside in line. When I got to the window I noticed they had flies and they were landing on the food. The woman had a bandaid on her finger and was not wearing any gloves when handling the food. I remember distinctly, it was a bright yellow bandaid with happy faces on it. On top of that my order was completely wrong and my waffle was pretty sad. I got the banana cream waffle this is how they cut the bananas and they were brown. Never returning to that location.

We tried the churro waffle, the Nutella with strawberries, and the biscoff. All were so good. The whipped cream compliments the toppings and waffles perfectly. My favorite was the biscoff. We also had the chicken and waffles, amazing too! The chicken was fried perfectly, and not too heavy or overwhelming. I'm in love with Waffle Love 😍
