Our family of 6 consisting of 3 generations (two teens!) were on vacation in the LA area and decided to spend a day at the Santa Monica Beach. We looked into renting beach chairs and umbrellas and found Joy Ride. What a great experience working with the owner, Michelle, who set up chairs and umbrellas for us all right on the ocean and next to the Pier! Everything was waiting for our arrival including footballs, volleyball, boogie boards and even horseshoes! We didn't have to do anything. We just texted her when we were leaving and she packed everything back up to her Big Blue Truck. The cost for this amazing service was very nominal when comparing to renting, hauling and returning these items ourselves. Highly Recommend!

My wife & I had the best time celebrating Mother's Day at the beach in Santa Monica. We decided to rent bikes and enjoy the weather. We happened upon Joyride and were so impressed with their bikes, prices and excellent staff. I was so surprised when Niko (employee) offered my wife a rose for Mother's Day. We were so touched by this thoughtful gesture. If you're looking for great bikes and excellent customer service stop by Joyride. It's the coolest mobile bike shop in town. We can't wait to go back.

I flew in from overseas, one of my colleagues told me I have to check this place out when I get settled in at my new place near Santa Monica! My wife and I haven’t rode bikes in a long time and we’re a little skeptical at first, but when we arrived, the customer service they provided was excellent!! Greeted us like we were all family, very respectful and polite! We explained it’s been a while since we last rode bikes and Michelle made it very easy and simple! She explained the different bike options they had, and walked us thru the different specifications on each bike! She made our trip easy and breezy like covergirl!😇 We had an amazing amazing time! Thanks again Michelle and Joyride Staff🚴🏾‍♂️🚴🏻🚴🏼‍♀️🌊

Blade Runner

We made reservations for five bikes a day before and it worked out great. Bikes were held and ready when we arrived. Beach cruisers were in good shape. (If you intend to go faster, get something with a shift though. Those cruisers cannot be coaxed into going fast.) Return was easy. Location is optimum. We have absolutely no regrets with renting from joyride.
