Vito's has excellent food! Always been good quality since they first opened here. But I ate there today and it was really expensive. It's great food, but not great enough to justify $15 stuffed shells totaling in a $36 bill for two pasta dishes and no drinks, before tip.

Make sure you get everything you order/pay for!! Due to limited choices, I order takeout frequently from Vito's Pizza Bar & Grill in Amherst, VA and I consistently am missing something in the order. When you try to call for compensation they offer an apology and a promise to do better next time.

The place has gone downhill in recent years. We all know prices have gone up with inflation but imagine a restaurant that doubles its prices while halving portions.. when you go there and feel ripped off, it's hard to enjoy your meal. Literally paid $17 for 12 rigatonis and 1 sliced sausage. Even the waiter agreed with me it was silly. A good restaurant would have corrected it or offered something to make up for it but not Vito's, which now takes patrons for granted. Only come here if you're desperate.

I must say, out of all the Vitos I've been to, this is hands down! The Best one of them all! The Oysters were cooked to perfection! The stuffed shells were absolutely delicious! Our server was very friendly and well spoken. Even after a really busy Friday, she took really good care of us with a smile. The environment was clean, comfortable, and pleasant to Dine In. My son had a lasagna that was out of this world and said fried oysters are the greatest thing he's ever had. Overall this was a very pleasant experience. I will most definitely eat here more often. 👍👍
