I absolutely love my hair! Thank you Maurice for transforming my boring and overwhelmingly long grown out hair! Beautiful views of the ocean, friendly staff, and I highly recommend Maurice! I showed him a photo from pinterest and he listened to my concerns, gave me knowledgeable suggestions on how to modernize the hairstyle in the photo and how he will personalize it for my hair and face, and he created a haircut that far exceeded my expectations. He also took the time to show me how to style my hair 3 different ways depending on time constraints with my personal and work schedule. I will definitely be back!

I’ve had the best experiences with Maurice at Brambila salon. He knew exactly what to do with my hair in terms of the cut and styling, and I absolutely love it. The salon itself is also beautiful, across from the ocean and they have amazing products.

Jenna B completely transformed my hair! I am so very happy with my cut and balayage and have gotten many compliments. Jenna made sure she knew what I was interested in doing to my hair and the color turned out perfectly. I was expecting to spend a large portion of my Saturday at the salon but Jenna was very efficient and the time flew by. Thanks again to Jenna, Stephanie for my yummy latte when I arrived, and the Brambila salon! I will definitely be back.

I received a Brazilian blow out from Maurice because my natural hair is super frizzy + kinky, and I am SO HAPPY with the results!! First time doing a treatment like this and definitely won't be the last. Highly recommend this salon (and especially Maurice) - very professional, kind, & detail-oriented. Overall 10/10 experience!

The next time you want to get your hair bleached, dyed, or highlighted, opt to get your hair cut first, then go to your stylist and colorist. A drastic haircut may change the color options for your hair, so choosing a hairstyle before coloring will help your colorist determine the exact tone for your new hair. A trimmed hair can also be applied with more ease because healthy ends have the tendency to "soak up" color more readily than untrimmed hair.
In most cases, it will depend on the situation. There are some people who have sensitive skin and it is important that they take a shower in order to avoid being irritated by the hair particles on their bodies. Some hair particles even contain traces of dandruff, which may cause irritation or a small boil all over their bodies. Additionally, it is better to not do this considering that they have already washed it before they cut it and placed the product. You are doing too much damage to your hair by showering when you get home.
Depending on how you want to cut your hair, you may see a drastic change in your appearance or a subtle one. Your appearance will depend on how much you cut your hair and how it's shaped. The changes you'd see in a three-month shape up on someone who is wearing a bob that sweeps the shoulders are not drastic. Having a good haircut can really help you look better, as it will simply frame your face in a flattering manner. You can highlight certain features in your face with your hair, or balance your face out with it. Before and after photos are the best way to illustrate the drastic change hairstyles can make on your appearance.
To determine the best hairstyle for a round face. Hair that is layered straight to slightly wavy and long looks stunning on you. You also look good with long side swept bangs. Don't wear bangs with blunt edges, bobs with big curls, or blunt curls with short lengths that will accentuate your width. You might end up looking rounder with these styles. Try to elongate your face.
In spite of a bad haircut, there is at least one good thing about it: it grows out. While you are waiting for your hair to be shaped, you might want to see if you can find a different hairdresser who could help you out. Your next step would be to stop worrying about it and just let it be. More than likely, no one else would have noticed it to begin with.
I guess it depends. Do your stylists or barbers wash it before cutting? Are you getting a clipper cut? Can your hair not be combed because there is enough product in it? Has an intense workout made your hair soaking wet? If you need your hair washed or not, you can go to your appointment and have them make that decision for you. You may have your hair washed, trimmed dry, or sprayed with water depending on the desired result. It is a good idea to arrive with your hair dry when you are going to a new place. It makes it easier for whoever is cutting your hair to see how you wear it.
Depending on the type of establishment, the location of the salon/shop, and if it is a chain store or a free-standing establishment, the cost of haircuts can vary tremendously.
Your hairstyle is entirely up to you. You are the one who decides how to wear it. Although others may provide suggestions, you are ultimately responsible for making the final decision. Because you'll be wearing it every moment of every day, a lot of people might wonder if it's worth it. The majority of the decision really boils down to your facial features. Once you know what shape your face is, it will be a whole lot easier for you to find out what style and cut will compliment your face, making your search much easier and less stressful.
In answering this question, there are so many variables to consider, even if a global survey were made and a majority vote was taken, that may not be the perfect haircut for you. In order to answer this question adequately, we need to weigh factors such as face shape, hairline, hair texture, hair maintenance, as well as personality. After all, the best hair style is the one that suits you the bes
Among the most popular mens haircuts, what do you think is the most popular? The most popular men's haircuts are the pompadour, the fade, the undercut, the quiff, the comb over, and the slick back.
Our habits have a much greater impact on our hair than we might think. In spite of the fact that every hair has its own life cycle (growing, maintaining, and losing), there are some factors that influence your roots. In addition to having a negative impact on your physical health, drinking and smoking can cause your hair to lose its vitality, as well as speed up the natural aging process which can cause damage or hair loss.
It is neither true nor is it accurate, in fact, it is the complete opposite! To prevent excess sebum from blocking your hair follicles, you should wash your hair at least once a day if your hair feels greasy every day. Any hair that falls out during your washing routine was due to fall out anyway. In other words, it has nothing to do with the way you shower! The fact that you shower will not cause your hair to fall out, but you must use products that do not damage or irritate your scalp while you do.
In spite of its dramatic statement, it has been proven that stress can lead to hair loss. A lot of your hair may seem to be losing, which may make you feel worried even more, leading to a cycle of more hair loss and an increasing sense of worry and stress. Keep in mind that it is normal to lose between 50 to 100 hairs each day, so hair loss is nothing to worry about. It is recommended that you see a dermatologist if you are concerned about your hair loss or if you think that it is above the average.
It is true that hair naturally falls out in the course of the fall as this is the time when your hair actually renews itself more than any other time of the year. The reason for this may be that hair may be weakened and damaged during this time period since summer is the period that hair is punished by the sun, the water, and the beach, causing the follicles to become weaker and the shafts to break.
It is true. A greasy scalp may cause more hair to fall out if it isn't excreted. As a result, sebum (oil) can clog the pores and lead to an unkempt appearance and make your hair look dirty. Be sure to wash your hair with gentle products that are suitable for your hair type and keep your scalp in mind if sebum and dirt accumulate. Pay attention to your scalp too when you shampoo your hair if you notice that sebum and dirt accumulate there.
You'll have to consider your budget, your lifestyle, the kind of haircut you prefer, as well as the stylists in your area. An experienced hairstylist at a more expensive salon will usually have a lot more experience than someone at a budget salon, but there is always the possibility of finding a talented up-and-coming stylist at a cheap salon or a very overrated stylist at an expensive business. Finding someone whose hair looks good and is similar to the style you want and having that person cut it for you would be the best way to go about it.
The typical recommendation for a guy is to get his hair trimmed every two to three weeks, but if the style you are going for is something that requires more precision, maybe every two weeks is the right choice. You should definitely make an effort to wash your hair no less than once a month in order to prevent your hair from becoming crazy and out of shape. If you give your hair time to grow, you can actually go longer, but then you may need to go to a barbershop to have it shaped if your hair grows out long. Taking your hair too long to grow out when your hair has been a disaster, shaggy, or rough around the edges for the last six months or so might prove to be a waste of time.
There is one general rule that applies to the situation. It is always a good idea to keep your hair short. When you have short hair, you are able to minimize the appearance of balding and also give your hair some lift to give the impression that you have more hair. The truth is, some guys do not believe this, and continue to follow their old styles. Having said this, if you have ever seen a guy with a big afro and a bald spot at his crown, these bald spots actually become more obvious as the hair grows longer. Therefore, it is recommended you keep your hair shorter.
In general, you should tip your hairstylist at least 20% if you like her work. This helps build up a relationship with the salon and allows for last-minute appointments in the future as well.
There is no truth in it. The shaft of your hair is affected when you cut it, but the follicle, which is responsible for the growth and premature loss of your hair, is not. As your split ends have been removed and you will have even and healthier-looking hair, getting your haircut may make you feel as if your hair is falling out less, but this does not affect new growth or hair loss.
