We had our wedding here at the Ramada in Tom’s River last weekend, and while the wedding and reception was spectacular from decorations to food and drinks all great! I had rented a room the night before my wedding and it was dirty the bathroom floor was disgusting with stains and hair. Then we was also given a honeymoon suit for the night of the wedding and that room was as well dirty the stand up shower floor was filthy the bed had stains on it and we found a long track of fake hair sticking out of the couch cushions and a fake nail stuck in the bathroom sink!!! I would recommend a wedding or event but definitely not a stay in of the rooms

The room itself was good, the bathroom was gross. There was hair in the ice bucket, hair in the tub and the bottom of the shower curtain was covered in mold and hair. The tub didn’t drain so when you shower it just pools at the bottom and then once it reaches the disgusting shower curtain the stuck hair from other people washed into the tub. There was a used hand towel hanging over the shower rod. The bed was hard and the stretchy sheet was too big for the bed and kept coming off. I called down on our first night to have someone come the next day to fix it and no one did.

Here's our experience at this location this past weekend. Our family and friends reserved approximately 7 rooms Saturday night, and about 19 rooms Sunday night. To say we were disappointed with the Ramada is an understatement. I have a list of issues I wish I didn't. The first thing we noticed was the smell of cigarette smoke when we entered our rooms. It was overpowering and disgusting. It made us sick to our stomachs but when I complained, the repeated response was "I'm very sorry". Second..The majority of us on our second night were forced to be inconvenienced because someone didn't do their job correctly and select that we would need the keys for two nights. Try to understand this was late at night after my daughter's wedding. We were exhausted and should not have had to deal with the incompetence. Third... One of our guests had no air conditioning. After maintenance was unable fix it, they were forced to vacate their room and sleep in our room. Fourth...Our room had a fake fingernail on the couch. Fifth....One of our guests had blood stains in her room and needed to be changed to the first floor. ALL of the rooms were DIRTY and DISGUSTING. An EMBARRASSMENT to the Ramada name and an embarrassment to us. Some of us were repeatedly locked out and had to continue to walk to the front desk. Each room had ONE roll of toilet paper which is unbelievable to me. We were given 2 towels in our room and had to call the front desk so we could take showers a second day. I called to ask for a broom and a vacuum, only to receive a broom. I am going to assume the company really won't put much attention and effort into this email because from what I understand the property has been sold and will close as a hotel. However, myself and my guests will never stay in a Ramada or a Wyndham property again. I believe someone in our party complained and received a very small discount, not nearly enough. I am extremely upset and frustrated, my guests should NOT have had to endure these conditions. FYI My characterization of events were accurate and factual!!! My future travels would never be here again.

Experience was ok, expected a lot more for the price. I know it was a weekend but still having to pay 13.99 for breakfast is ridiculous. Also, pillows were either too hard or too soft. The bed wasn't soft more on the harder side. The bathroom was nice but when I called the front desk to ask for more shampoo and conditioner as well as body wash waited over an hr before going to the front desk myself to be given 2 shampoos and then to be informed they have my order in from when I called still no one came and brought extra. For a couple especially a girl needing more of each to wash with long hair. Also, pool wasn't opened and it was the week before memorial day weekend. The hot tub wasn't either looked like it was under construction. Would not recommend it if looking for a quick romantic getaway.

I used Uber during my stay. It was about a 30 minute wait for arrival and about $30.
Yes but it's small. Don't plan on entertaining there. They do have a small bar and a breakfast place. You can find better hotels in the area.
