It's a very large and spread out facility offering many services. If you want to minimize your walking, you will need to make a plan ahead of time. The worst thing about the place is the freeway connections. I'm not sure they really thought this out, especially for people that aren't familiar with the area.

Came for the appendicitis, stayed for the comfy beds and great service. In all seriousness though, the doctors, nurses, surgeons, and all the other staff did a great job. They were friendly and empathetic throughout the process. Even with some patients hurling expletives and abuse at them, they remained calm and professional. My respect for the work you all do is immeasurable.

This is the worst hospital ever I have always had bad experiences at this hospital from the nurses to the doctors. Everyone is so unprofessional. I am a Kaiser member and the staff treat you like trash. Then when you report them they all stick together and lie. A lot of a these people need to get fired if you can’t be kind and courteous to people who are sick and in need of care then you don’t need to be working here . Something needs to be done about this or they need to close Kaiser down . The bad treatment of patients has to stop.

I was here last year in late March/Early April because I was feeling suicidal due to being bullied and controlled too much by others. I was hoping to get emotional support for my trauma, but instead this place utterly retraumatized me. One of the male guards, I can't recall his name, peeked into the bathroom I was using without my consent (I left the door cracked slightly open just like I was supposed to do and was not taking too long at all, but this guard peeked in twice in less than a minute with a creepy look on his face). Also while I was at Kaiser the guards threatened me when I politely asked to leave the room to make an important phone call to my Dad, they pinned me to the bed when I got frustrated because my Synthroid medication was taking too long to transfer, they took my phone away even though I wasn't using it and it was off, they made me feel like it was my fault that I felt suicidal at the time, they were unsupportive of my disability and the fact that I need earplugs and I can't do everything fast enough, I told this one lady with a clipboard and expensive knee-high boots that I'm Autistic and it USED to be called Asperger's, and she acted so supportive but I later found the paperwork and discovered she scribbled Aspergers instead of Autistic in careless handwriting, and every night I was there I wished I would just pass away in my sleep because the staff made me feel worthless. This is NOT how you treat suicidal, depressed patients. We should feel loved, worthy, and supported, NOT treated like a brat or an inconvenience. Instead of using money to fund your designer knock-off boots you should be using it to fund emotional support services. I am appalled this was how you run your hospital. This place needs to be immediately improved, based on reviews by patients, not based on wealthy doctor's convenience.

Hi Ron, I'm not sure about walk-in blood pressure checks by a Dr. or Technician, but I have seen self-check stations in most Kaiser locations. Also, you can find a comprehensive list of locations that have self-check stations by searching the web for "Free blood pressure check machine near me" Hope this is helpful for you.
Online at kaiser careers.
