Very cute neighborhood 50's dinner. The service was great. The servers were I think all young kids, high school age. The menu is something right out of the 50's and a great change from anything you would see at a chain restaurant. All in all a great experience.

Such yummy and fresh ice-cream and it's also a sandwich shop.! I remember my gramma taking me there for lunch as a little girl. It's so nice that they've kept this place up and have never allowed it to become shabby. They are the anchor for that few blocks of shops having supplied regular and robust foot and auto traffic to that corner for the last 75 years. Yep, 75 years!

Entering this old-fashioned ice cream parlor is like stepping back in time. The decor hasn't changed much since it opened in 1947. Delicious ice cream, milk shakes and ice cream cakes are completed by hit drinks and grilled sandwiches. There are only five booths, first come first served. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommended if you visit Sacramento.

This place is a very interesting little shop. The waitresses are friendly, and the milkshakes are fantastic here! However, the chipotle garden burger fell short of expectations for the following reasons. First, it was not an actual burger but a sandwich. Secondly, the meat inside the burger was good but it can be odd to a person that is not used to eating that style of patty. My personal suggestions for milkshakes are the mocha almond fudge and the blackberry marble.

I don't understand Spanish but the ice cream is the best I grew up on Gunther switched over to Vic's. My favorite ice cream is chocolate mousse to die for if you get a chance to go over there get the chocolate moose. I live on the other side of town and I always go get ice cream to bring it back to my side of town ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ ☺️
Good question...seems odd they can't get help especially in a nice neighborhood
Vic's is the best! Great staff also. I really don't know where else it's sold.
I think they vary, but probably $25-30. For an ice cream pie for $25.
