I just left here and I left very heavy-hearted. I came when they opened and as soon as I walked in it smelled so bad! Then I noticed they have a lot of adult bearded dragons, which were in small enclosures. A couple of the dragons were very angry/stressed, showing extremely black necks. They have huge snakes, also in small enclosures. I don't know if these are rescues, but it made me extremely sad to see. I would not recommend this place, and I will not be going back.

This place is the best. I rescued a 6 month old leopard gecko that wasn't doing so well. I brought her in free of charge to get a health inspection and Tyler was soo helpful! The whole team was very helpful and caring! They really know their stuff!!

I was reccomended to go here by a reptile owner friend of mine for my snails. Everyone seemed like an expert in the products being sold and seemed very knowledgeable. I got some moss substrate because I was struggling with humidity and bought them a natural branch to fill up the space and allow them a way to vary the moisture if they don't want to be on the moss all the time. They absolutely LOVED it! When I get a reptile I will definetly get feeders from here!
The Chicken Wizard
Amazing. Dozens of different reptiles/amphibians to choose from, and hundreds of supplies and equipment. This is not the first time I've been, but you all should make it your first time by visiting this awesome place.

Their inventory changes pretty often, but I would say 95% of the time they have a couple
Depending on the circumstances. If you are interested in purchasing and taking one home, we will allow you to interact with the animal. We do not allow people to come in and hold all the animals as if it was a petting zoo. It is healthier and less stressfull for the animals not to be handled often. If you have any questions please stop by and we gladly will be able to help you out!
Yes. They said it was $10 fee to surrender a Bearded Dragon...but that was last October 2017 and I was just asking about boarding my BD.
Yes, and their crickets seem to last longer than at other places.
Not sure what you mean by reptile links, but they have reptile tanks for sale
Yes you can. There is a $10 surrender fee per animal
Absolutely! They have more than just snakes, they have other reptiles as well including different varieties of turtles. You can also buy your accessories and feeders here. Wonderful place!
Call them and find out the have the several different species. They are also representing the reptile fair at the end of the month in downtown Sacramento. There will be a lot of better deals from them and others during the event I believe it's at the civic center.
I think they do sometimes. Look on the website or call
I do believe they do amphibians as well, but call ahead to find out. ;)
Same parking lot tucked in next to mountain Mike's
A limit on how many people can come in at one time and masks of course.
they've had them in the past, their livestock changes pretty rapidly, best idea is to call them and see what's in stock.
Sometimes they get them from people looking to rehome but I haven't seen any hatchlings. I reccomend looking on the Facebook Sacramento reptile groups for a breeder. There are several in the area or check periodically to see if they get any.
No. The only creepy crawlies I have seen are arachnids and Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, along with the feeders.
It might be $50/month? Not totally sure. Just call them and ask - they're super friendly there!
Depending on stock, yes. Those are the more common pets, so they almost always have some in stock. They also have really great lighting, cages, tanks, and substrate options.
I think you have to check with your local store.
Yes
No they don't
They have an ever changing selection. They could probably get one if you asked.
I haven't seen any garter snakes here yet but it is legal to own them in California I own some of my own although mine are wild caught but they have had babies in captivity and I might become a breeder in a couple years or so
Depends on stock. They may have some.
Good question, come in to see which one you would like to purchase
What they do not have they transfer between many other stores
Yes
The best thing to do is call them and ask. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable
They always have pythons there. From what I know, snakes do not really get attached to people. So it should not make much difference .
Call the store where you bought the feeder
I've seen them a couple of times there, but their stock turns over fairly fast. Best to call them directly.
Yep i have seen them their many times. But their stock does change, so maybe call ahead. They always have the coolest reptile though.
They do both
The serpentarium sells diffirent breeds of bearded dragons; i've German giants, central beardies, and citrus, although depending on the time of year, you may see different types. Either way, you should definatley buy a baby beardie from the serpentarium.
Yes they do, the selection changes from time to time. They're in a glass case as the other answer said
They will take it but sometimes they charge a ten dollar fee for the more common reptiles
They can always order one in for you. And it is possible they have that species at a different location. Hope this helps
They can get you that along with anything else you would need.
