So I left Southgate Library because it was too nosey. Now here at this location I'm met with loud children here too. But at least these kids can you use bad language like adults. To add more misery, the librarian herself is loud when assisting other people. One person asked her to quiet down a bit but they were met with a dirty look. It appears a quiet library atmosphere is a thing of the past. Kids are still screaming as I type. Can't afford to ride around to find a quiet library.

This is a pretty small library. However, they do have a good selection. There were a couple of books that was looking for that they didn't have at this location, but they typed it into their computer and found that they did have them at another location and told me that they could have them brought there in a couple of days for me. I thought that was very helpful. The staff are all very kind and helpful.

My favorite aspect of this library is the great computers they have in the library. I have my own computer and it meets my needs, but the library gives me a chance to use a state of the art computer. One of the best parts of using their computers is that google does not know who you are. It let's you see what searches look like for random people with out knowing my history, and also gives me a chance to see what things look like on a different monitor. The other thing I really like is that it gives me a chance to get out of the house and be around other people while I work. I frequently see friends and neighbors there.

This place isn't what it use to be. It used to be a quiet place where someone can be productive but now it's a mess. Kids are loud and running around all over the place. Staff doesn't say anything to the parents. Preteens and teens are playing video games and they are very loud about it. Nothing is ever said to them. Creepy homeless guys sleeping and hitting on you which can be uncomfortable. Also outside the study room there's only 2 outlets available by the work tables so if it's crowded (usually is) it'll be hard to work on your laptop if you need to. You're better off going to Starbucks.

They do have people who volunteer at the library. I am sure they would love to have you. I would suggest you ask a librarian what the procedure is to sign up. Good luck. You will find that giving back to the community feels really good.
Apparently so.
Yes the lbrary is open for all services.
Yes, 2 hour limit.
At the courthouse on power inn rd.they have free legal help too.
Yes, the library hosts all sorts of classes. Just go to the website and click "events". Then you can select your library branch or select "all locations". I am pretty sure I've seen a knitting and crocheting class on the calendar a time or two.
Animal clinics are scheduled by 4RFriends. You can find contact information and their clinic calendar at www.4rfstreetvets.org.
Yeah but I was wondering how much , then if I have to bring a USB? Can I bring my laptop?

You can, however last time I was there a librarian had to use their computer to print for me. I believe it was a quarter a page.
