The clothes and discounts are great, the customer service is horrific. Yesterday I visited and my crying baby rattled the cashier who seemed new/confused. I suspected she made a mistake on my purchase and sure enough, I was charged twice for one item. When I returned to the store about a half hour later and asked a cashier about how to handle the mistake, she told me to wait in the lube of 16 people (only 2 cashiers) for them to correct it. Shopping with a newborn, toddler, and 4 year old is difficult enough, waiting in s giant line twice to correct an associate's mistake is unacceptable. The new cashier mumbled a meek "sorry," and the supervisor only approached to put in a code in the CD register and avoid eye contact. The whole situation was handled poorly. I'm a local and shop here often for the prices and quality of Carter's clothes, it is not my first disappointing transaction.

How do I return my order?

It’s easy to return it to one of our 850+ stores within 90 days. However, you cannot return your items Curbside, you must come into the store. If you're a Rewarding Moments(TM) member, no receipt needed! To return by mail, simply print a return label from MyAccount.

Employees sanitize their hands after each customer interaction and wear a mask during the entire process of fulfilling your order. When the associate brings your order to your car, they will place your order in the trunk or backseat to comply with social distancing.
