This review is for the Lakewood & Florence location. 🏆Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Born & raised here in So. California and I've been wanting to try this place. We finally got to go and, boy! Why did I wait too long? My Mom and I had the butterfly shrimp with fries (wished I would have gotten the loaded baked potato! Next time I will!), and the salad. Gramma got the same thing, but instead of fries, Gramma got the loaded baked potato. My Cousin David got the beef spare rib and pork rib, and the pork beans. All plates came with a crusty, light & crispy, delicious garlic bread! All was enjoyed immensely, the food arrived hot and delicious. The ribs just fell off the bone, our shrimp was crispy and really wonderful! Looking forward to going back!

We grew up in LA County now we live in Riverside County and this is one of our pit stops when we come out here they need to open one in Riverside County love their ribs and salad with the blue cheese dressing😋😋😋

Kids do not eat free. But they do have a good selection of meals for kids that include dessert.
No entry inside the restaurant. Employees only. The Whittier location is fortunate to have an outside take out window for decades. Signs are posted requiring the use of face mask that cover the nose and mouth. No mask, no service. Hand sanitizer inside the window. All employees have face mask on that cover nose and mouth. Signs stating to keep at lease 6 feet apart outside. Plenty of room outside to keep distance. Felt very safe. Because it's take out only, service is a little faster than normal. Best advise is to call your order in before heading out. Faster with little wait.
Daily specials for about $11 ... some plates are $15-25 depending what type of meat you order.
