Is this place is fabulous we have a group that talks about women and children getting the help they need . We come together and exercise we come together and talk we come together and cry we come together to help one another overcome the barriers in life it's a beautiful place that know how to give love and dignity back to the women that need it the most and I encourage anyone if you have the time please go visit that place you will be amazed at the glorious feeling you will feel when you walk in the doors knowing that that place help less fortunate people

Awesome organization that advocates for unhoused people. If your landlord is giving you problem give LACAN a call. These are good people doing great work!

I volunteered with LACAN for several years. Excellent mission, but organization changed a lot in the last year. Very disorganized with weak leadership and recent campaigns haven not gotten results. Think twice before donating or getting involved. Many other dope nonprofits in South LA. Support them instead.

It's tough in LA, but not impossible you have to keep with it...& kind of hammer at it, and don't give up! After 10 years of trying I finally got my stuff.... but it was a learning process, there's also a rating for you in LA that's very important...I found in a defect in mind which is what allowed me to get my housing, It's called your CES rating for Coordinated Entry System, so hopefully it doesn't take that long for you; BrilliantCorners.org Brilliant Corners helps with housing SkidRow.org Skid Row Housing Trust; this is for the LA City LACDA.org Los Angeles County housing section 8 LAHSA.org Los Angeles homeless Services Authority There's 211 on your cell The Lamp on Crocker near 5th, Weingart @ 6th & San Pedro are worth checking out, be careful in the Missions. Personal Note from Tek; I was attacked & robbed @ the VOA around 38th B'way and they had bed bugs there too I certainly do not recommend that place I think it's dangerous...
