I was at this venue on the 9th for a funeral repass service and was horribly disappointed to the point I left within 30 minutes. It was hot and stuffy, the food was like play dough and the staff was rude to the point of refusing cups of ice claiming that “people was sneaking in alcohol in the past”. Keep in mind this is an event for MOURNING FAMILY MEMBERS! the amount of money this grieving family spent to use this space for 3 hours is disgusting! Especially considering the environment was so unpleasant everyone left within an hour! ZERO STARS!

I almost always stop by here on the way to or from one of my favorite restaurants - Cha Cha Cha. The bar has a cool decor...inside and out. I'm not sure quite where to place it stylistically...maybe a 1960's version of the future.

The pictures shown is not what it looks like now. Not even near that elegant anymore. It was 1st owned by an African gentleman that brought elegance and class to the neighborhood but apparently could not attract American people in the area. It was strictly a restaurant that you could also reserved for private weddings and parties. It was absolutely beautiful. Something you expected to see in Beverly Hills. An African american woman own it currenly and it does NOT appear beautiful anymore. The decor is mediocre, absolutely nothing special about it anymore. Just a basic juke joint now. They serve little snacks (fried chic wings, fish n chips) but you better order before 8pm because I don't think they want to make any money, or just not concerned about pleasing their customers because they shut the kitchen down at 8pm. They do have special events periodically that I have attended on occasion that were enjoyable but it seems they are very unorganized and unprofessional.

Given our close proximity to Sofi Stadium and the Super Bowl activities, our venue has been rented out for a private NFL related event. As such, we will not be open to the public for viewing the game. Have a great day!

Live jazz is every Sunday from 7pm -10pm. There are occassional live performances on Saturday nights. Join the email list through their website (www.lavenderbluela.com) and you wll recieve monthly notices letting you of all of the concerts they have each month.
The buffet menu for the Mother's Day Event is being finalized but it will be an elegant lay-out that will fill one full room of the venue. There will be multiple meat options along with an assortment of vegetable and fan-favorite sides. The value of the event far exceeds the ticket-price. Buffet food, live performance show, reserved seating, and valet parking for only $47 (limited early bird discount price which is currently still available at the time of this posting) is by far the best option to show the special Mother's in your life a great time.
