Black Friday's year after year have seen some of the grizzliest Street Hockey games that Broomall could have only dreamed to offer. 4 teams battling for the coveted "Turkey Cup Championship", but don't tell that to these players, they are battling for much more. Pride, Showmanship, Bragging rights, and the ultimate glory of having their named etched into the annals of Broomall's lore. This rink has seen boys turn into men, Bud light cans filled and turned into recyclables in seconds, and championship moments so great that they've been featured on Spittin' Chiclets. This rink will continue to serve us for 2-3 more years, until our bodies fail before us, we begin to get married and sadly, start having kids. We will then pass it onto a new generation to cherish. Until then, and until 2023, this tournament will not be going anywhere. Please join us at Turkey Cup IX on November 25th, 2022 at 8am sharp. National Anthem followed by round robin play. Championship at 2pm. Havertown Barnaby's following the tournament for a beef and beer.
