I live close by and visit this market every Wed and Sat. Great selection of organic and non-organic but local produce, some meat, poultry, eggs, and flowers. There’s a mushroom stand as well for $20/lb for any kind they sell. Almost every merchant accepts credit cards but they definitely prefer cash, so be aware. I mostly come for my favorite strawberries (Harry’s Berries come here, yey!) and the best farm chicken I have ever had. Nothing costs less than $3. Food here is more expensive than any, even the fanciest, grocery store, hence 4 stars.

We were tourists wandering through, and it seemed like the bread and butter for these vendors would be large commercial orders, but everyone still took the time to talk with us, tell us about their wares, and let us buy even the smallest quantity to try things out. I was grateful for what felt far more like welcoming hospitality than "selling."

Such a fun place to buy fresh groceries! I’m so happy to check here out before I left Santa Monica. I bought some fresh figs, dried dates, mini apples and tomatoes. All are so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the place selling tons of jujube dates. The seller is super friendly and patient.
