I did the 5.8 mile loop counterclockwise and found it overall enjoyable. About 3 miles of the trail runs alongside streams which is very peaceful. There’s about a mile or so at the end of the loop that’s a little boring through a logged area where the trail is sometimes difficult to follow due to it being overgrown or the logging roads that cut through the area. There was also a spot about a mile into the hike where there were several trees down blocking the trail. I did run into a group down the trail a ways though that were actively working on trail maintenance.

Beautiful hiking trails that are well marked. A little on the busy side for me but well worth the it for some of the views.

Both entrances are marked with large signs on Rt. 59. The entrance to the trails would be at the Morrison Trailhead which is a short drive from the entrance to rimrock. Both are on the right hand side if driving from Warren. A quick GPS search should take you there but beware. There is no cell phone service in that area.
