Beautiful campground. The sites weren't very private but we were there mid week so it didn't bother us. We enjoyed wading in the creek, riding bikes and walking along the bay.

This is an amazing, laid back campsite. It's mostly full of boaters headed to the lake daily, so things are super quiet all day. But, beware--there is not a lot for the kiddos to do here if you are land-locked. I will definitely book again for next year!

Horrible place. Dark at night and full of vicious bears and rabid racoons. Stay Away!!!! Not! Really this has been our favorite campground for decades. The reservoir is beautiful, and great for swimming, canoeing, exploring. No light pollution at night means stargazing is amazing! The sites are large and generally private from neighboring sites. And the North Country Trail runs right behind it - that's a beautiful easy hike to the next bay. You do have to bear and racoon proof at night - our main cooler has the teeth punctures from a bear that yarded it out of the back of our suv while I was 20 feet away getting the next cooler! Love this place and we will be back for more adventures.

Always stay in a cabin, at least a couple of times a year. The cabins have always been clean and dry. The bathrooms are exceptional even on the busiest weekends, nice place to drop nuggets and get a shower. The boat launch and it's parking …

Not if you put your food back in your car. No lockers
yes, they do have tenting sites. just go to recreation.gov and look for the non-electric sites
There is no entry fee, but there are fees for using the boat launch or camping. It's half fare if you have an access pass or golden age pass.
Not in the campground, you would have tent (or camper) in designated areas. However, you could pay $5 to park and boat or hike to the forest where dispersed camping is allowed.
Some sites have electric, no water at each site. There are water spigots throughout the campground.
I don't know, but I think they would allow it. Cool idea. Call the park office.
Yes, but showers are usually only available 4/1 to 10/30. Water is shut off for the colder months.
It is in Allegany National forest so I am sure there is hunting in the area
Verizon cellular service is available at, or very near the sign-in booth about 98% of the time. If your on the water, Verizon service is available if you head north out of the bay. Sorry, have no idea regarding digital TV
All sites can be used as tent site. There are a number right on the water with no electricity just for tents. Most of Hemlock loop are just for tents
