Two weeks ago, first time there. Arrived ~approx 17:30hrs. THOROUGHLY enjoyed the time there. My friend recommended the place. We took his grandson there with us. Played: -Cyclone -Funhouse -Addams Family -Star Wars -AC/DC -Terminator -Centaur -and Tales from the Crypt (crypt, now being a new favorite of mine. Thank you Pinball Museum!) Most machines -are not- of the "wide body" type. Even so, the time went by soooo incredibly fast! In 2001 I had 2 pinball machines in my front room; Paragon & Centaur. HELLA fun and good memories from those 2 machines. Ended up selling them both. Was hoping to find that they ended up at the museum. Meh, they may have them; just haven't brought them out yet. (The museum has THOUSANDS of machines, but only enough floor space to accomodate maybe a hundred or so). Will keep checking in and playing like a kid with no tomorrow, at the Pinball Museum, in Alameda, Alameda county, California. Oh yeah, not only are the pinball machines forever free, (after paying the one day fee to get into the museum), but the Jukeboxez are also wired for continual -no fee- play.

I've been to the museum a few times before and it's great. My brother collects, repairs and plays pinball machines and video games. This place is hallowed ground for us. Today I brought my 4 yr old son. He got a lot more out of it than I thought a young boy would. Especially in this world of phones, tablets, and distractions. (Maybe the right amount of bells, whistles and chaos was going on. I don't know.) It was awesome.

Absolutely LOVE this place. It's $20 per adult except Tuesdays that are 2 for 1. Entry fee gets you an all day pass and you can come and go as you please. Sooooo many games and they are all free once inside. Also they have several jukeboxes that are also free. The girl at the counter was friendly and very helpful. Family friendly.

What a rad place! Pinball machines from 1940s through 2000s in different rooms with a few different jukeboxes. All you can play all day for $20! My friends and I had fun going around and there were plenty of space and not much wait for various pinball machines. Would recommend this to anyone to check out

Yes, the have one of the best. Williams with the runners in the glass. It is a classic, my favorite macgine there.
It really depends on the individual child. Some 4 and 5 year olds can last up to 3 hours and play every single game. It is also good when parents engage and help them play. We also have a few coined games up front if you want to test their interest/skill level before paying museum admission. We also have step stools!
Thank you! Appreciate it.
I was disappointed the Indiana Jones pinball game wasn't there.
No.
We generally do not buy games. We receive most of our games through donations.
No, we do not do repairs of anything not belonging to the museum.
No, but they help anyone they can
Yes, we can stash your suitcase while you play.
We went during the week and it was cheaper. Worth the price of admission!
I don't recall seeing that one last time I went, but I know that they have a warehouse with several other machines in there. I don't know how often they change them out
Hi Kim! Your in & out all day pass let's guests explore neighborhood eateries and bars. We have a water fountain and vending machines if you need a quick snack while playing!
Closed Mondays. Check their site for any other changes to regular hours (occasionally special or private events). Machines inside are all on "free play." So, unlimited play (and in/out privileges for the day) included with admission.
Don't know, give them a call, the variety of machines is awesome !
