This place always lifts my spirit and points me (no pun intended) in the right direction to stay on the path of righteousness. The community, performers, and pastor are devoted to the worship of our dear Lord. Pastor Greg if you are reading this- thank you for dedicating so much of your time to maintaining this church. God be with you always.

This is one of the best places you will find. It has great people, caring pastors, multi-cultural and multi-congregational experience that is unique...they are all together doing church as one church in 6 or 7 languages. And the building is worth seeing as well with a terrific view of the valley.

Questions & Answers

Does the city allow all churches reopen in San Jose?

Brahma Dhammo | Sep 7, 2020
The Point Church in San José | Sep 7, 2020

Hello Brahma, Yes they do. At this point there are a lot of restrictions to that re-opening. 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less. No singing because of spreading germs, no childcare so that children from different families don't infect each other. Masks and social distancing rules still apply. So under those previsions we have decided to wait to re-open until we can make it a good experience for all. So in the meantime we invite you to join us for live services online on our website or on Facebook.

On what Sundays do you have communion? Some churches have it on the first Sundays. Do you have communion Sundays?

yes, it is usually the second Sunday of the month. but there are times it is a different sunday. for example we served it last sunday.

Do you believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit? I have the Gift of Tongues. I have been praying for GOD for wisdom to guide me and help me find a new church.

Greg Gates | Sep 8, 2019

Absolutely. All gifts are to build others up. We don’t use tongues in the service for biblical reasons and we teach that the evidence of the infilling of the HS is a transformed heart that loves others like Christ. But we care deeply that everyone knows and uses the gifts God has given them. Then God can do his supernatural work in our community.

I live in a senior apartments on the Villages Parkway across the fire station. I want to visit your church because I am looking for a church that I can get the word . I would like to plan on visiting the church soon. Is there a dress code ?

Is your church a non denominational church?

Blissa Blessed | Sep 8, 2019
Greg Gates | Sep 8, 2019

Hello Lilia, we are connected to several Bay Area church networks. Building relationships with other pastors and church groups is important to us because we feel we are all better when we’re together.
