I have been camping annually at lake Pillsbury for about 8 years now. Some years the lake has been dry and other full. Every year is equally fun. The scenery is perfect for those seeking to get away from the city and just enjoy nature. I love both the public camp sites and the group sites. This year the lake water was by far the warmest I've ever felt. Can't wait to get back next year. I may have to get you there again this year really!

It's an awesome drive. It's 10 miles of dirt road but any car can get there just drive slow and steady. Place has showers behind the store. Bathrooms are decently clean. I camped in tent but they offer cabins. Water is perfect when in summer time. Water shoes are best because it is all pebbles and sharp rocks.

Yes there are bears,birds, racoons, squirrels, and this year a whole lot of yellow jackets all which will come for your food. Put it away in your car. Or ice chests.
There are several. Their map is available online but you should call the office to see what is actually available. They take reservations a year in advance and there are a lot of people who have had the same site during the same week for 20+ years.
Yes, but at the resort it has to be on a leash
