I purchased from them in the past when they were located in Oakland for my 1999 Acura Integra GSR. The motor ran for another 50,000+ miles, ran great. No complaints. Went back to them for a 2001 Honda Accord 2.3L automatic transmission. I purchased a rebuilt unit since the original transmission was slipping out of gear. I"m back on the road so all is good.

Went here after I needed an engine for my Honda. Prices were below other places I checked, received great customer service, and was shipped my engine fast. Considering I’m not a car person I was really impressed and pleased with how smooth everything went. It’s been over a couple years and engine still going strong. Would highly recommend.

BIG MISTAKE ! I bought a short block from them due to the fact that the cylinder head was rebuilt and the old engines rings did not pass a leak down test ( meaning it will burn oil ) . I follow their instruction to change the oil in 500 mile due to reman. engines will burn a little oil during break in . customer takes car and comes back in 500 for its oil change . Only to find out the engine burned 4 quarts of oil in 500 miles ! Reschedule time for them to bring their car back so I can pull the engine ( by this time the vehicle has had 6000 miles on its engine ) . . Customer returns I contact japan engine , the first thing they say is your out of warranty ( their warranty is 12 months/12,000 miles )
