Not a good neighborhood. My bff lives here and my car was gutted parking my car at this complex. The doors don't lock and she says that her packages constantly get stolen.

Unfortunately this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an apartment management. When I first moved in, June 2020 all was well and I loved my apartment. Beginning in October, a noisy neighbor moved in below me. He began having parties, playing his music/bass and movies really loud, and playing his guitar plugged into an amp out on his balcony. Sometimes his noise is so loud that there is no area of my apartment that I can be in without hearing him. It’s like he’s literally in my apartment - and even if he were, that would still be too loud for me. Within 1 week, I had recorded 7 disturbances from his unit. And since February 11-23, have now recorded 8 new disturbances. And these are not issues like, walking loud or talking, etc.... this is very inconsiderate, “doing it because I can”, levels of noise. One time he even brought a karaoke machine... I formally complained on him four times through Oct-Jan. After the fourth complaint, him and I both received a 3-Day notice to cure or quit, stating I had been a disturbance as well, yet I had never received any type of warning before. When I brought this to their attention, they quickly rescinded the notice and apologized. Still, I quickly lost trust in the management after that, especially because it had already been my fourth complaint and the noise was ongoing, and stated to them that I’d like to end my lease early. After speaking with the upper management about the situation, and telling them that I was a disabled veteran, they simply stated that they are doing the best that they can. (Apparently because of the covid eviction moratorium it is difficult to evict tenants at this time.) They said they would waive my early termination fee but because I received 8-Weeks Free when signing my lease, they stated I would need to reimburse that to them. After a negotiation, they stated I would have to pay 6-Weeks now instead of 8 - which at first I was okay with. But after many more disturbances from the neighbor throughout February, I strongly believe I should not have to pay anything at this point especially because this affects my daily life and mental health - I can hear his music right now as I type this. Still, my request to cancel the fee was denied. I understand if they cannot evict him, but I do feel it is still their responsibility to take care of me as their resident and not charge me because of an issue they cannot control at the moment. After sending piles of evidence to them, they have continued to refuse to eliminate or further reduce my fee. I sent in a reasonable accommodation letter stating that staying in this apartment is directly affecting my disabilities and they stated “I do not see how this pertains to your request but we will process it...” At this point, it feels like I am being harassed as this neighbor is clearly out of control, I’m being left to fend for myself, and he gets to continue being as loud as he wants. They truly do not understand what I am facing. This is unlawful by the city’s noise ordinance levels which I have recorded dB level readings which out-stands what the acceptable level of volume should be - I am not being given my right to quiet enjoyment - and my mental health/disability feels ignored when they state “I don’t know how this pertains...” I have asked them to do what is morally right rather than seek financial gain out of me, yet they have found no reasonable and humane way to accommodate me. Reducing my fee is not accommodation, it is belittling my situation and just trying to do “enough” without simply admitting they are wrong and prove they are willing to fully provide me with I need to live peacefully. I will continue to seek what I’m entitled to and what is right because “big” companies like this should not get away with treating their tenants as a paycheck and ignoring disabled veterans mental health. Again, unlawful and I will be seeking proper justice in this case. And however they try to respond to this, as polite and professional as it sounds, don’t fall for it. They have shown their true colors.

I love living here. We had issues with our kitchen sink & sewer on New Years Eve and after calling maintenance we had the guy, Reggie, over incredibly quick. He fixed the sink/sewer fast and was on top of the situation from the beginning when he arrived. Now we can keep enjoying our New Year’s Eve. Great service!!

The Muse Apartments in NoHo are incredible! The perfect mix of location, amenities and affordability! Aaron Trujillo was so kind and helpful in our search for the right apartment and everyone at Muse was so accommodating. The Complex is clean and accessible and the other tenants are very respectful. If you’re looking in NoHo Arts district Id highly recommend checking out the Muse.
