Candice is amazing. We were cracking jokes before I even walked all the way in. Simply iridescent. Brendice was also lovely and very helpful! The budtenders are all knowledgeable about different products so there was always someone who could give you good insight into certain products. It can be overwhelming with such a big selection but the employees are ready to help you find something that's good for you.

'Rec' could be short for 'medical marijuana recommendation' which you can get from a doctor. It may also be short for 'recreational' which means the store is open for recreational sales. At Green Valley Collective we serve both medical marijuana patients and adult use (recreational) customers. All you need to visit us is a government-issued ID showing you are over 21 years of age :)

Hi there, there is actually 34.5% total taxes on cannabis in Los Angeles. The 15% excise tax is required to be charged on all cannabis purchases in the state of CA and here at GVC we include that tax in the price of our products. In addition to the 15%, there is a 10% tax on cannabis purchases in Los Angeles and having a medical recommendation reduces that tax to 5%. There is also the standard 9.5% sales tax. If you have the MMIC card, you would be exempt from the sales tax.

Hi Ann! Yes, we do charge tax. The 15% excise tax required by the state of CA is included in the price of our products. We must also charge a 9.5% sales tax. Los Angeles City charges an additional 5% tax on medical marijuana sales and a 10% tax on recreational sales.
We haven't stopped selling it but it has been taking a little while to get it back on the shelves. Please keep checking back. It should be back on the shelves mid-month.

THEY JUST POSTED THEY GOT THEY'RE LICENSE RIGHT BEFORE I PRESSED SEND ON THE MESSAGE BELOW...You can buy edibles up to a certain potency now that we've gone recreational. But you have to find a dispensary that's gotten their rec license and there are currently only two in LA. Soon there will be hundreds.
No stores have been issued recreational sales licenses yet. Likely most qualifying stores will start selling recreational by Feb 2018.
