Dr Wixsom and her staff took excellent care of our ferret Link. He was gravely ill when he arrived and they did everything possible to save him. He passed away this Sunday and when they found out she called us to just check on us and let us know they all cared for Link also.

Meet Yardstick and Ruler. Yardstick, the black and white kitten, earned his name because he has three feet. His left forearm was destroyed, gruesomely, when he had a very bad day as a stray kitten who crawled into a truck engine compartment for a warm place to sleep. Ruler, the charcoal kitten, was an abandoned starveling. Dr Wixsom and her staff took in the homeless kittens, and nursed them back to health. Yardstick took multiple surgeries to save his life and repair the damage. Dr Wixsom did so without an expectation of payment. They were strays, abandoned and unwanted. Now we are fortunate to call them both family. Two sweeter bubbas you couldn't wish for. All because Dr Wixsom and her staff couldn't just let them go.

I have a sugar glider, and I want to take her and get a check up due to the chance of her having ringworm, do you accept exotic pets?

Mya Hammond | Nov 26, 2019
AdriAnne Snyder | Nov 27, 2019

I know they do see some exotics but am not sure about Sugar gliders. I do know that they see ferrets and rats so I dont see why a sugar glider would be a problem, but dont quote me in that. I'd call in the morning. They open at 8am. Sorry I couldn't be more help. I hope your baby gets better!
