Arrived a few minutes before our appointment at 9:40 AM. The guard at the gate was very polite and professional. No lumper fee but we ended up having a 4 hour off load for 5k lbs of product!

Pay structure is great, however the production rate for new hires is too high. It wouldn't be as bad if they offered more training on the floor. They offer only 3 days training on the floor and then throw you into the deep end to work on your own the following week. I've worked easier jobs than this Big 5 warehouse and they still offered more on floor training. The attendance policies are a bit extreme and they don't offer an employee online hub to check your available sick/vacation hours or how many points you've attained. The order pulling supervisors were the most unprofessional group of supervisors I've experienced at a job before. Everyone thinks that Amazon is a terrible place to work when it comes to warehouse, but it isn't the Big 5 warehouse that's for certain.
