Very pleasurable experience. Maria did a wonderful job signing me in and welcoming me. Dr. Benjamin was very graceful and professional. Ed did a fantastic job fitting my glasses. The best part, besides the amazing staff, was I got both pairs of glasses the same day as the exam. Used to be a two week wait back in the day. Thank you so much LensCrafters and staff!

Mary was an excellent service provider. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. She worked with us to get the best deal for us. Dr. Carter was very professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way we could understand. She answered our questions and gave recommendations. We highly recommend this LensCrafters store and the people who work there. Very positive experience.

The staff is so helpful and polite, they make LensCrafters a wholly wonderful experience every time I’m here. Kisha has helped me most often including today, she’s absolutely awesome. She helps me feel confident making choices about frames and provides great information in an understandable way about lenses. I really appreciate how considerate she is and I hope LensCrafters is aware how valuable she is. Thank you!! I came in to buy a new pair and get my broken frames replaced. Replacing them only took a few minutes which I didn’t expect! Super happy about that as well!

Going to the eye doctor is almost as bad as the dentist, but you get cute glasses at the end. I was greeted by Monica who was very nice, and did all of the pre-exam testing....I still hate having air blown in my eye! She explained everything thoroughly. I knew what everything (except 1 new machine) was but I know it's part of the job, so I listened. I saw Dr Carter, and she was, hands down, the most informative eye doctor I've ever seen!! She was very nice and friendly and explained things in an understandable way! I finished with Monica, who ordered my glasses for me. You can tell that she's new as she seems a little unsure of things at times, but she was very nice and competent and eager to help. Great experience!

Questions & Answers

What should I bring to my eye exam?

You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.

Why should I get an eye exam?

An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.

What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?

LensCrafters | Sep 7, 2021

A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

LensCrafters | Sep 7, 2021
LensCrafters | Sep 7, 2021

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

LensCrafters | Sep 7, 2021
LensCrafters | Sep 7, 2021

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Anybody knows if in this place they can put out a little piece of wood in my eye?

Hello Dolores, Apologies, but I am not certain about this. I would call, or visit, a local LensCrafters to speak with their Optometrist.
