I grew up right down the street in the early 90s, and I can say they are still the same great place and same ladies. Foods always made fresh to order and taste great 😋 . You won't be disappointed

The food is delicious, but it is definitely very expensive. It easily costs $40+ for two people to eat here. The breading on the fish is so light, crispy and perfect. The fish itself is okay, and it doesn't have a strong fishy flavor or anything, but the meat is a little but mushy. The cole slaw is okay--it didn't have very much flavor, but the onion rings and the tartar sauce are so good! Service is really good too. I will definitely be back!

I liked it. I got 2 fish n chips , coleslaw and tar tar sauce. Fish was crispy outside and soft inside. I felt like fries was not salted but it might be just me. Food was ready in like 10 minutes and the lady owner was friendly. Overall good experience and if I want fish n chips next time - I will consider this place 100%

I haven't had this since I was a child. They closed the one near me and I've been looking for this place for years and here I am. Well it was everything I was expecting and more. Made me cry to think of how my parents often came to H.Salt to get fish when we were kids. Will definitely be coming back even if it's a far drive lol
