Minimum charge to dump household junk is a $7 up to 200 pounds or so. You can recycle cardboard boxes newspaper printed papers and the like for free which is really convenient

I use this place all the time for trash and mulch. Not sure how a dump can get one star reviews for training, hours open and organization. Pretty simple place to use, just ask the attendants.

If you are a resident of Albemarle County or the City of Charlottesville you can dispose if paint at no charge. This is for residents only, not businesses.
