We had awesome service! Britni was able to show us the car and let us drive it, even though they had just received it. She went over all of the features of the car and we asked her to ride along. She brought a notebook and took down our questions, just in case she couldn’t answer them, so she could look them up! So awesome. Fernando got us sorted with the financials. He was very kind and not intense like some salespeople can be when you buy a car. They drove the car out to us a day or so later after they had detailed it, for free! Altogether, we got a great deal on our car and were treated very well!

Joey and Mr. Madrigal truly went out of their way to make the buying experience enjoyable and easy. They pulled out my Palisade from the showroom floor to allow my wife and I to both test drive the vehicle and make sure it was a great fit for our family. They then worked with us on the final price to make sure the monthly payments were comfortable and within our budget. The financing didn't take too long to complete and the paperwork was easy to understand. Britney provided excellent follow-up service when I needed to get my car detailed. Overall experience was great and I recommend giving them a chance to earn your business before checking out other dealerships.

Fernando sold me Santa Fe my for my 2nd baby mama, he did a great job and we used her mediocre credit to complete the deal. Got a great financial rate with out having any trouble. She’s a pain in my neck but now things are better with our relationship.

Britni at Hyundai of Gilroy was great. No pressure sales. I drove three and a half hours to look at the car. It was the only 2022 Kona N they had. She made sure it was still there when I got there. Drove it right off the showroom floor!! The process was easy, they even negotiated on pricing and got me the monthly payment I wanted!! I absolutely LOVE it!!

Questions & Answers

Why should anyone go to Gilroy Hyundai when most reviews are negative and they have a 2.8 rating and Capitol Hyundai's reviews are mostly positive with a 4.5 rating?

It's wise to drive further to reach a reputable dealer because they will treat you with respect and be honest during and after the transaction.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Very poor. I was greeted by a mask-less employee, and 3 of 5 salesmen in a windowed meeting room had no masks on. I was then yelled at by a sales manager when I questioned their covid safety practices.

A bottle of Cilajet paint sealant cost dealers $30, how much should a customers pay?

The Cilajet might cost that much or more but the process of putting it on requires time and much care. It takes about 4 hours to prepare the exterior ( wash, dry, clay, buff, wax , and finally the Cilajet application). Plus the warranty part.

How much does it cost to replace the O2 and CO2 sensors, and get a new gas cap for 2004 Elektra?

My advice would be to go somewhere else to have the work done unless it's warranty work. Gilroy Hyunday is full of shady salesmen and the service department is bad as well. I say this from personal experience. I bought a Car there last year and they falsified information on my application to get my loan approved. I found out from my credit report that I worked for them. Which I do not. Also when going back for a break issue several times which they swore they fixed, that I had to take elsewhere to get the issue resolved. They are bad news. You could probably go to Auto Zone and get your gas cap for less. But do yourself a favor and get the car fixed elsewhere.
