Extreme bad experience at this gym. Most of the staff members are great except for one guy who only works in the morning. He left two notes on my car and threatened to tow my car because I parked my car over there during the morning and took the train before/after workout. I signed up here because I was being told that I could leave my car in the parking lot during the day because there's not much traffic. After getting the notes, I communicated to the staff and being told it was a mistake from their side and there should be no problem to keep parking at the gym. Then I went back in the morning and met this "morning staff" and he said i was lying about everything, so i decided to cancel my membership. Then he told me the cancellation fee is $99. Another note, he is the only staff who requests the gym members to use cash to purchase drinks (minimum $5) at the gym not credit card.

Strong and Shapely has gym equipment that you won’t find anywhere else. It isn’t crowded, and they have lots of cardio equipment that you never have to wait to use. They also have powerlifting equipment stretching machines and boxing equipment.

When the demand exceeds the supply of course. As you can see we now have more cardio equipment than the gym ever has and no one ever has to wait for a machine. Thanks!
Just asked the front desk, open 7am to 7pm
They're open on Christmas eve from 5am To 6pm. Closed on Christmas day. I don't remember the hours for New Year's eve but they open up at 7am on New Year's Day.

Daily Rate is $20. Most gyms don't even offer daily rates, we still do and in addition, we credit that amount to your membership if you decide to join after your workout. Please come check us out, we have made a lot of improvements since it reopened under new ownership in October.

Yes there are showers. There's also a CrossFit gym area in the back but I've never seen any mention of classes anywhere.
They close at 5pm tomorrow, that much I know for sure. Most likely they'll open up at 7am tomorrow.
