Tried to donate here and was left in a triage room alone for 30 min. As I walked out noticed all staff on their phones playing games. Would have liked to help but after waiting 45 minutes and still not through triage

It was okay you know I mean didn't feel like it was really great I think the staff is a little bit depressed because of the covid-19 so kinda hard to get real happy in there but otherwise they do their job efficiently & well enough. What more can u ask 4 ?

Of all the Stanford Blood donation centers this one may be the easiest to get in and out of. Parking out front. As always Stanford medical needs exceed availability. If you qualify and can, donate, make an appointment. The staff ... well they are good, darn good. Check the map, this location might be perfect for you. It is for me.

No, you don't get paid. However each donation will provide points that you can use to redeem items from their online store. And they have promos every now and then alongside third parties like Peet's coffee, movie theaters, etc so you get like 10 dollars cards for coffee or a movie ticket.
If you look up "Stanford Blood Center Medication Deferral List" you can see which ones prevents you from donating. A quick glance didn't show Shingrix, it could be under a different name. Perhaps a call to find out for sure could clear your question, good luck.
