Today was my first time at this hospital as a patient and I have nothing but nice things to say about the hospital and staff! Checked into the ER around noon on 4/18 and was seen within 5 minutes. Tests and bloodwork were done within the hour. It was determined that I needed surgery and they were able to do it in a couple hours. They made sure I was very comfortable and very thorough with how the surgery would go and what I can expect. After all was said and done I was out of there around 7pm, which is unheard of, especially after surgery! Every single person I interacted with was sooooo nice and personable! My surgeon was very approachable and detailed which put me at ease! I am so happy I decided to come here instead of going to the city hospitals. Will defintely come back here the next time I have an emergency, which will hopefully not be anytime soon :)

I used to love the excellent care this emergency dept used to give. While I realize there is a pandemic going on. I saw many empty beds in the emergency dept. I had been very sick for 2 weeks, I was positive for covid. I had been nauseated for a few days and vomiting the morning I went to hospital jan13th. I was there from 10:30 a.m. till 6:30 p.m I o was very short of breath and wheezing, I also have asthma. I was sent for a chest xray which was clear, then a chest scan which was clear. After about 5 hrs I got an i.v. with anti nausea stuff. I had to use a commode in room, which was stuffed full of chux pads that I had to itale out, no TP. Supplied I had to unhook from machines so I could re napkins, never got hooked up again. Machine beeped until I shut it off. I asked for water , never got any finally at 6 ,I asked to speak to someone, where I was informed my tests were clear. . I asked about medicine, they said I didn't need anything. So I spent 8 hours in hospital for nothing .hope they enjoy my insurance $ and I better not get charged a copay

Came in with a horrible UTI and nausea. The receptionist had an attitude and yawned very loudly and seemed agitated with my presence. I immediately urinated into a cup for evaluation and they still took one hour to test it. I tried clicking the call nurse button many times and nothing was happening. All I could hear was laughter in the hallways near the nursing station. All in all, would not recommend for any reason. If I have an emergency I will just have to call 911 or just deal with the longer drive to other hospitals.
