Very large New Jersey diner. Huge selection of bakery items as you walk in. Many, many menu choices all good sized portions and reasonably priced. Very odd to find a diner that serves Chicken French and other upscale dishes.

Food is good, and a nice place. 04/12/2022 Update: things are changing here, they used to have a person in charge of checking the food and service quality. This is not happening anymore. My food was very poor quality, the Avocado was black and the potatoes were hard not well cooked.

Located in Paramus, NJ....Suburban Diner is a very busy spot that has a very good wait staff. When my family and I arrived, we had to wait about ten minutes due to the place being at capacity plus the cleaning staff constantly cleaning and disinfecting everything. Once we were seated, the wait staff attended to us quickly and served our drinks within minutes then took our orders. When our food arrived, we dug right in. The most interesting of all our orders would have to have been the Disco Fingers (chicken fingers and fries covered in gravy and melted mozzarella cheese). The food was very good and the portions were just right. They also have a great selection of deserts. Combine that with an average price point and you've got a solid diner that I'd recommend to everyone. The ONLY negative I saw here was the lack of variety on the entree portion of the menu. Otherwise.....a great place to eat and enjoy.

We had a large party, 14, for breakfast! As always, never a let down. Our waiter was superb! Everything came out as expected!! AWESOME!!! This is one of those places you don't let go. Always a pleasant experience!!!
