One of the my favorite places in Syracuse anytime of the year. When the roses are in full bloom this place is magical! Huge thanks to the Syracuse rose society for maintaining this beautiful garden!

This is a really beautiful little local gem. I've lived just a few minutes from here for many years and like to come walking here several times a year. The variety of roses is astounding, and the location is beautiful enough to be worth hosting weddings and other events at. It seems like mid-June to early July is the best time to see the peak bloom. Take a gander!

One of my most favorite spots in Syracuse/Thornden Park- a great place to visit throughout the year, but never better than when the roses are in bloom.

A beautiful respite in the city! I walk through Thornden Park once a week or so and always stop in the rose garden to see what's blooming. They have benches and a water fountain, which is great mid-walk/run. The garden is cared for by volunteers, and you can tell how much they care. It's a great place to bring visitors or kids - they'll love to run down the paths like a maze and see all the different colors. Even when the roses aren't in bloom, it's still a nice place to sit.

I believe it is handicap accessible. I don't think it's big enough that they have anything to rent there
I don't remember seeing a designated parking for handicap. However all parking is along a curb/sidewalk.
