If you are a senior and looking for a dog, don't stop here. He recently lost my mom to Cancer and the dog they shared for 6 years, also to Cancer. He was not sure he wanted another ( couldn't bare to watch another loved one die. He finally decided he would get another dog. He was approved and knew what he wanted. When we got there they just kept saying we don't have any dogs for you because of his age. They presumed to know him and what he need based on his age.b How rude, that's decrimination. When we left he said maybe I am not supposed to have another dog. same on you people, don't worry we won't be back.

FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BEFORE GOING OR YOU WON'T SEE ANY DOGS. Very clean. So many volunteers walking happy dogs! Very friendly employees. I was impressed. ALOT

We found the most loving and sweet little girl from HH. They are a pleasure to work with. Their adoption fee is fair, she came with everything she needed to start her life with us( shots, micro chipped, spayed and even check up at vet). If you plan on adopting realize these furry babies require care and it's forever ❤

Love our Bailey girl!! The only suggestion I would make is getting on same page w/ Shop City Animal Hosp as you advised me grain free food is best, and they advised complete opposite. They disappointed me & wasted my time after waiting over a month to get her in for her physical. Her nails were very long and I voiced at the beginning of the visit that this was important to me as I have a 8 year old that plays with her. They didn't bother and made some lame excuse as to why they couldn't cut her nails. Instead I paid $11.00 w/ a groomer who advised me she was an angel. I will NOT be going back there!

We are always looking for volunteers...go to www.helpinghoundsdogrescue.org and fill out a volunteer application
They actually contract with the states of Texas and Alabama where they may be at risk for euthanasia. Visit their website for answers to the most common questions. https://www.helpinghoundsdogrescue.org/frequently-asked-questions
Not at this time i dont think...go to helpinghoundsdogrescue.org and see the available dogs
Good question. I don't know
go to helpinghoundsdogrescue.org and fill out a volunteer application Marshall
You dont need to but it does make it easier if your looking at a specific dog.
Maybe helping hounds does but I'm allset thanks
Yes you need an appointment or at least call ahead of time .
It costs around $400 to adopt, a little more if they are younger. The dogs recieve vaccines, are spayed/neutered if they are over 6 months and are transported from out of the area.
Each "shipment" of dogs are different. You'd have to look on the website to see which ones are coming in. They have all different sizes and mixed breeds.
No you're totally right. We should just let all the helpless dogs who did nothing wrong die on the roadside cause that'll def teach their owners who abandoned them a lesson! Thank you so much for your valuable insight!!!!
You need to be 14 years old. If you're eligible head to their website and fill out an application!
Yes! Fill out application on website...well before you find a dog you like.
Yes of course..come into the rescue anytime and drop them off. The pups will love them!

Your local Humane Society would be a better bet!
