I just wanted to take a moment and recognize an exceptional staff member you have. I work for a durable medical equipment company and had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with Ryan today. I'm not sure what his title/position is but he escorted me through your facility as I was picking up some of our equipment. Ryan was very pleasant and helpful. He made my job so much easier by not only escorting me but also by helping me take our equipment from a 3rd floor apartment out to my van. Very few facilities have people willing or able to do this. It saved me a few trips! Please let Ryan know how much I appreciated his help!

David and I have lived here a year. We were excited to move into our beautiful villa, but we didn't know anyone here. In less than a month we felt like we were a part of this wonderful community. The residents are friendly, amazing individuals, and the staff has kept us safe and happy even during this pandemic. We love the maintenance free life style and the food is great!

When it became clear that my uncle was not safe living by himself we investigated several senior communities in the KC area. He was reluctant to abandon his home, but we were impressed with Kingswood and convinced him to give it a try. It has been a wonderful choice. He began in assisted living, but it eventually became clear that he needed to be in memory care. We were so happy that we chose a facility with multiple levels of care on the same campus. The facilities are very good and kept clean. Food is good. Most important to us were the staff/people that would be working with and supporting him. He has been treated with respect, kindness, and compassion by everyone. It is clear there is an institutional commitment to helping residents live meaningful and happy lives. I would like to give a special shout out to Karlene in administration, Thomas in dining, Emma in activities, and Chris in nursing. Thank you for your kindness to a much loved uncle!

My mom has been at Kingswood for almost 6 years. All of the staff that I have dealt with has been very caring! My siblings and I all live out of state. They are always willing to do whatever I have asked to help my mom. we have great peace knowing mom is surrounded by great friends and staff who care about her!

They have multiple levels of care depending on the needs of the residents living there. I would recommend calling the office and speaking to someone who can provide you with more specific details.
Way too much for the subpar care they offer. Don't be fooled by their recent renovations - as the saying goes, you can put lipstick on a pig... We paid $7600/month for a 500 square foot one bedroom for my mother. That's way over the KC average for Assisted Living - and my mother was a low-level resident who required little care. the care we hoped for her to receive was stripped from the faculty after multiple errors that could have easily been avoided with training and better policies. Burnt food, poor activities schedule, unfriendly and inept administration, unsecured buildings, untrained staff, I could go on all day.
