I have Stage 4 prostate cancer and have had 42 radiation treatments in 2014/2015. My cancer has come back. Am I a candidate for Proton Radiation Therapy?

Can proton treatment be used on esophical tumours

Call Loma Linda. I believe so but can't be sure.

I have intrahepatic chlangiocarcinoma and have had surgery that removed the left lope of my liver, the blood vessels to it, the tumor and a lymph node. The lymph node was clean, the margins did have cancer. Am I a candidate for proton therapy?

I believe so. Easy way to find out. Call Loma Linda ask for the proton center. They'll give you information how to send copies of your diagnosis/ biopsies, etc. Then they'll set up a consultation with one of the great radiologists there and in the mean time send you all kinds of information. That way you'll know from the horse's mouth if you're a candidate, what the minimal side effects are and prognosis.
