Lisa was very kind and helpful. Also being open on Saturdays was very nice and not so busy. We were in and out in 20 minutes. I live in Liberty but I drive to Gladstone DMV because honestly it's just way better than the Liberty DMV office.

You used to just take a number. It was more comfortable. They keep changing everything and it's not private anymore. They call your name and it's hard to hear with no speaker. It used to show your number and you knew when your number was next. Very stressful environment. I had to go back again. This place is incompetent. The older lady next to me sat there for an hour and a half because she didn't hear her name. I told her to go check out what happened and that they might have skipped her. They did. They know nothing about the safe at home program and treat people like they are not telling the truth. They make people behind you more important than you a instead of taking care of the situation at hand. Disrespectful people.

I came in to renew my license. They told me I have to have the bill signed because I live with my dad but it would work if he just signed the bill. So I got that done and came back. I talked to the same lady, I said “I got the bill signed just like you told me.” Then she says, I gave you a paper to fill out. (SHE ABSOLUTELY DID NOT) and this time, she said the bill I had signed wouldn’t work because it doesn’t match the other one exactly. One said Gladstone one said kansascity. It was the exact same address otherwise. Terrible service. She was very rude and argued with me about giving me the paper. And it just didn’t happen. Your better off going to the one in liberty because the people here are incapable of doing their job. Emily M. was the one to do this. she was on booth 8 on 5/23. Absolutely terrible service. Awful. Literally ruined my day. My brother had the same experience. Meaning they do it often. Wasted an hour of my time. Again…

Since I am new to Missouri, I have had to had a lot of documents changed to reflect my new residence. This office has been extremely helpful and professional throughout this whole process. I've never experienced such pleasant experiences at the DMV until I came to this location. Thank you to the staff!

It depends on your vehicle in specific, you can use our tool to estimate the cost. https://sharpmediallc.com/greeter/

The fee to renew a six-year Missouri driver’s license is $35. The three-year required renewal fee is $17.50. If your Missouri driver’s license is set to expire soon, don’t wait. The process can be simple if your license is still valid but can become more complicated and expensive the longer you let it go. Don’t wait to receive your renewal notice. Take action from this guide and complete your Missouri license renewal before your license expires.
6 Months early
No. However with CoVID-19 protocols in place, someone meets you outside, do the basic screening checks, then you can go inside to get a number slip. Afterwards you stay outside or in your car until they call your number. Then your allowed in to do your business. If this was helpful add a like.
You don't take it at the license office you take it at the highway patrol across the street
Yep as long as you have all you need
You need to know the road signs.
11 dollars
In Missouri if you didn't pay sales tax when you leased the vehicle then Yes you have to pay sales tax when you buy out the lease...🤙
I have no ideal but I'm thinking one could go on down to the dmv and ask or maybe go on line and see if you can find the information that you are looking for
Nope
You have to just go in sit and wait. My last wait was 45 minutes but I went in the afternoon - a very busy time.
Yes cards accepted but u hav to pay a few $$ extra. Rip off. But their setup structure was very well coordinated
Proof of current car insurance Letter showing County taxes are paid. Your current license And bring the reminder card the state sends you
Go to www. dor.mo.go 1. Proof of identity 2.Date of lawful Status 3. Proof of SSA number 4. Proof of Missouri residential
Yes, this is the office for ID's, license, and car registration and tag renewals
You have to file for it and wait for it to come back if you have licensed it before then they can use that to relicens
Not really. When u get there a staff member will come to the door and ask each person what they need and if they have an appt. If they dont hv an appt, they will give u a ticket number and hv u wait in your car until your number is called. They will say ur number on a speaker (mega phone) that blurts out to the parking lot, so u will need to keep ur window down while u wait. They move pretty fast. Worst case scenario is they tell u to come bk in 1 hour if they hv several ppl in line waiting for the same exact thing u need. I've never known anyone to ask for their driving record. So u may be in luck! Hope that helps. Stay safe and be sure to wear ur mask when u arrive.
Go early when they first open
Im not certain. When I license a car purchase I bring title or statement from lien holder. Proof of insurance. Receipt for personal property tax. & vin #. Depending on the year, you may need a inspection gorm showing it passed. I dont know if it can be done online.
No you do not
No appointment needed for pickup, if you did the online submission through MyMODMV.com, just go speak with the greeter at the front door during normal business hours and tell them you have an online pickup and your name.
I would assume end because no set date
Annah Murray is right but in addition to that you have to go online and make an appointment too.
You need the title or bill of sale. The purchase date must be within 30 days. You will need proof of insurance and an inspection if the vehicle is an even year over 10 years old or the mileage is over 149,999.
Yes you need 2019 personal property tax receipt now. And inspection varies on the year of the car and how many miles it has.
To renew your driver license or nondriver license, you must present acceptable documents for: Proof of Name Date of Birth Place of Birth Proof of Social Security Number Proof of Missouri Residential Address
Applyy at any Ks Lic for new Licences then comr into mo licence office. If all up to date I do believe they take your info and your picture an you do not have to take drivers test. This is what zi dis from Mo to Oklahoma
Clear title Inspection Bill of sale (have it notarized Proof of insurance And a paid personal property tax receipt and a few hundred dollare to be sure you have enough to pay for the sales tax and license fees
While the license is not valid to drive on expired, you do not need to retest unless the license is 6 months expired or more.
He has to go to the state patrol testing station behind the Popeye's on Antioch first, then go to the licence office next to Ace hardware.
If your car is over 5 years old you will need an inspection to renew.
Everything! My husband was just there and had to bring proof of address ( offical mail, not hand written) his social security card, and his birth certificate. Amd make sure you tripple check the address. They keep getting the mailing address wrong.
Go to the office and they will help you in the process of getting it renewed.
Less than 6 months expired old id and proof of residency , over 6 months retest and proof of residency (piece of mail with your name address bank statement , voters card , etc.) The real ids (needed to fly domestically after oct 2020) birth certifi ate or passport , ss card , two different proofs of residency in paper form.
Every sat unless its near a holiday.
830 am to 5 pm monday through friday. 830 am to 12 pm on most saturdays.
Yes you can but there is a fee for paying by card.
If you have your insurance and inspection and have purchased the vehicle less than 30 days ago. Temp tag will last only 30 days from the day of purchase not the day of going in to receive it.
They do not have a late day anymore. For about 4or 5 years since they did that

Yes, as long as we have them in-stock.
I believe only the primary needs to be present. In my case both by wife and i are on her car, but i was able to title it without her (i was considered primary on the title though)
The most up to date information will be here. http://mymodmv.com/motorv/new
Google mo sales tax calculator. It comes right up. Gives you total taxes its not 10% but prob 8.475%
Missouri License Offices do not handle reinstatements anymore, please visit https://dor.mo.gov/drivers/reinstatement.php for more information. However, we do still print driving records.
Its based on the price of the vehicle and for sales tax where the car is registered. Please use the MO Sales Tax Calculator to get an idea of the price for ONLY sales tax, the license office will have additional fees beyond sales tax to properly title and register the vehicle, however, the license office fees are based on the type of vehicle. https://sa.dor.mo.gov/mv/stc/

Yes, it does not matter what county you live in Missouri as long as you bring the required documents.
Depends on the class of Drivers License, $20 for Class F, $35 for Class E, CDL Varies. Address change is free if we are creating a new license anywany (renewing/lost/damaged license) but if you are solely changing your address its $12.50 to get a duplicate license with your new address.
Yes but there is a fee
I just had this issue and I had to go get a waiver from the tax assessor.
Im going to guess around 50-75$. I payed 75$ for my 1998 grand prix.
They did the same thing to me. Thats why i left a negative review on google. If you have any questions you'll have to go up there. Or ask on here and someone usually helps.
Yes
Probably have to go the DMV and purchase another set. Bring your I.D, proof of title, proof of insurance, and proof of residents.
This location does not close for lunch.
No, we are linked with the majority of states and if there are outstanding tickets, warrants, or suspensions our system will prevent a license from being issued until the state that issues the hold is satified and lifts the hold.
Good question bcuz we all know they dont send the original copy in the mail anymore.. Gotta love government workers lol
Any kind of paycheck stub or bill that is current will work.
No. All testing is done at MO Highway Patrol M-F. No license offices test
Yes also proof of residents
Renewals are based off of taxable horsepower for passenger plates. Generally between $24.75-$46.75 for one year. Double for 2 years.
