I have never been so disappointed by poor service received from this facility. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. Unorganized, No ownership or accountability for their errors and wrongdoings. Horrible grooming services. Horrible customer service. Mangled my dog, took her for an entire 24 hours for one grooming service and returned her looking absolutely atrocious.

I watched for 2 hrs my dog at daycare. She doesn't really play with the other dogs but seeks attention from the person there. The individual sat on the steps hugging and petting a golden retriever most of the time. She ignored not just my dog but the others who sought to be petted. Finally she gave a few minutes of attention to my girl. I usually see the person move around the space being attentive to the group but not this time. It was disappointing that her attention was focused on one dog.

I recently adopted a 10-year-old dog and knew nothing of her history. I didn’t know if she’d ever been to daycare ever been boarded. I have to attend a family function this summer and will be forced to board her. I was very skeptical about this so I took her for a meet and greet. The people at dog Pawz were so helpful and nice. I was very impressed from the beginning as they understood my trepidation. I picked her up after 3 1/2 hours and she did great!I’m going to continue to bring her to daycare once a week until my trip but I feel much better about leaving her now!

I’m incredibly disappointed in the lack communication in policy/service offers since moving to the new location. We dropped our pups off for a Thursday-Monday stay, expecting the same quality of care, just in a new location. After not getting our “puppy postcard” stay updated at the requested time yesterday, I’ve been monitoring the cameras with no sign of either of my dogs. The camera quality has not improved with the move, as I had hoped. With the lack of photo updates and camera footage of my dogs, my mind immediately went to worst case scenario situations. After multiple unanswered calls, someone picked up and I was informed that daycare is now Mon-Saturday only, with caged boarding the only option on Sundays. “Cageless” boarding with the #1 factor in us becoming Dog Pawz clients nearly seven years ago. This change was not communicated at any point in my reservation or drop off process, nor do I see any communication on social media or website notifying clients of this change. So, I was told my dogs are in separate dog runs and are let out a measly 3 times per day. I am told there is 1-on-1 time with staff, but I’m skeptical based on the camera activity I was watching. My youngest pup has never been separated from our oldest (shout-out pandemic puppies), so this is incredibly concerning for me as a pet parent. The live camera footage is no longer 24 hours, which is also disappointing. Imagine paying extra for a private suite just to be cut off from cameras at 1pm on the weekends The pickup hours aren’t conducive to before the moved to the new location on StYe Line, we had nothing but incredible experiencesevening flights. They now print a paper collar with pet and owner information and have you keep both leashes and collar with you, which I found odd. We had recently recommended Dog Pawz to a friend, again for the cageless option and have reminded that recommendation, luckily they have not visited Dog Pawz yet. I am understanding of policy changes due to staffing/safety/etc. but the lack of communication of these changes is what concerns me. For what it’s worth, the Westport location is still cageless, but I’m severely concerned over the lack of communication on these changes. Had we known, we would’ve either booked at the Westport location or booked our pups in the largest suite TOGETHER. Now, I’m not sure we’ll continue even with the Westport location. Posting so other clients at the PV location are aware of these changes. Before the move we had nothing but great experiences, so it’s really a shame.
