The new ownership is much more attentive to the residents’ needs. I recently had to reevaluate the living conditions of my friend to better suit her needs and the staff, Valorie and Amber, were so very helpful in making the correct choice and the move effortless for me and my friend. Mary at the front desk is always so very helpful and warm in her greeting. I can now recommend the Village at Mission most confidently.

I recently visited with Valerie in the sales office. My husband has had Parkinson’s for over 18 years, and I’m looking for a placement for him. Valerie was so wonderful to take the time to help me sort through what setting would be best for his individual needs. I could tell from my time there that this is a facility that really cares about their residents.

Over the past 8-9 years we have had experience with a family member in the Health Care Unit, Assisted Living Unit and now the Memory Care Unit. Past concerns were primarilarly related to frequent difficulities with a specialized diet, lost laundry, high staff turn over and much confusion with initial response to breakout of Covid 19 in the early days of the pandemic. Past issues, real or preceived, individual or universal have received significant attention. Currently, without exception, all level of staff are responsive, sincere, and aware of names and needs of each individual resident. Kindness and respect for each resident and their family members in abundantly evident. There is a high level of coordination and cooperation among the staff with resident safety high on everyone's mind. Activities to engage residents are again being offered as allowed by current CDC guidelines and recommendations. Residents are encouraged to participate and are gently reminded when it is time to do so and are not left to languish in their room or miss an opportunity. Residents who are no longer able to do much more than sleep for a good portion of the day are visited by an aide on a regular schedule to check on their well being, administer medicine or just for a short chat. While many repairs are underway, including new bright decor, the real strength of this facility is the dedication of a friendly caring staff throughout the facility.

The Village at Mission is not only a beautiful community, but the staff is always caring and helpful. Valorie goes the extra mile, making herself available on weekends, calling back immediately, and is an absolute delight to work with. Her compassionate nature comes through in every conversation and it's evident how much she truly cares for people. I have been touched by her kindness from our first meeting throughout my brother's stay the past two months.
